Paint a Fish for WWF and Help Stocks Recover
Are you any good at painting? I’m certainly not, but all you budding artists out there should check out this amazing new initiative from WWF to send a message to the European Union to ask their members to allow the continents fish stocks to replenish.
WWF charity officials are becoming increasingly concerned that unless something is done soon, our oceans will be pushed to the edge due to overfishing. Over two thirds already are, and unless members of the European Union vote to reform their fisheries policy, it could be disastrous news for all concerned.
That’s why WWF have come up with this novel way to make a point to the EU members. By giving us a chance to send our personalised pictures of fish , we can show that we care about the world that we live in, and that it needs looking after. It’s a novel way to bring out the inner artist, whilst also supporting a great cause.
The best entries will even get a chance to have a little swim in WWF’s ‘catch of the day’, which you can see below. I’m pretty sure my effort above won’t be making it onto there, but you can’t knock me for effort. At least I tried (and then shared it TWICE with the world!).
You don’t have to paint a fish to get your point across though. You can just sign up to add your voice to thousands of others in asking members of the EU to help the marine environment, it’s fish stocks, and the fishermen who need the the ocean to put bread on the table. Click on the link below to create your fish and also sign the petition today to make a real difference.

If you would like to help provide funds to aid the WWF’s amazing work across the globe, why not adopt an animal? It’s a great way to help endangered creatures to survive, and an amazing way to provide the animal charity with the support they need to carry out their ground breaking work.
