Fancy a Puppy Helper Experience with Guide Dogs for the Blind?
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to spend a day being a guide dog helper? Well now you can with the Guide Dogs new Puppy Helper Experience at their National Breeding Centre near Leamington Spa.
This is a once in a lifetime chance to see exactly how what it takes to become a guide dog (them, not you!) and the half day experience allows visitors to –
- Meet some of our puppies
- Tour the puppy facilities
- Learn about their journey
- Experience a blindfold walk
- A behind the scenes tour of the centre
- Sensory Tunnel experience
- Photo opportunities
This amazing opportunity costs just £85 per ticket or £150 for two (within a maximum group capacity of six people). Please remember that Guide Dogs for the Blind receive no government funding, so all income raised from the Puppy Helper Experience goes towards breeding more guide dogs of the future.
Not only will you get to spend some time learning about what it takes to be a guide, but you will also receive a certificate and a free gift at the end of your session.
Adult (16 and over) Puppy Helper dates for 2013 are –
- 2-5pm Wednesday 25 September
- 10am-1pm Monday 21 October
- 10am-1pm Monday 11 November
- 10am-1pm Monday 2 December
Whilst Juniors (Age 4-16) Puppy Helper dates 2013:
- 10am-1pm Monday 29 July
- 2-5pm Wednesday 7 August
- 10am-1pm Monday 12 August
- 2-5pm Wednesday 21 August
- 10am-1pm Monday 2 September
- 10am-1pm Monday 28 October
