Check Out Footage Of Black Rhino Charge 

Ask any experienced safari guide for a list of their scariest possible scenarios that could take place whilst they are out in the bush and being charged by a rhino is most likely going to feature somewhere near the top. If you are wondering what it is like to be on the receiving end of a rhino charge, well you are in luck, the terrifying experience has been caught on camera by a couple of photographers who were driving through a South African game park one afternoon.

Black rhinos known to be aggressive

The two men were both employees of the park and had ventured out around noon hoping to see if they could track down a recently spotted cheetah. What they found instead was they had inadvertently crossed paths with a black rhino instead. Black rhinos are not the most mellow of rhino species and are generally known to be nervous with aggressive temperaments. It is highly likely what happened in this instance was the vehicle noise probably prompted the charge.

No one was hurt

One of the men in the vehicle who works as an assistant manager at a guest lodge near the park said as the car stopped, the breaks squeaked arousing the curiosity of the rhino. After having viewed the footage of many rhino charges in the past, we can honestly say we would have done a runner the minute we became aware the rhino started to approach. Fortunately for the pair in the vehicle, everyone left the encounter without any scratches.
